Rosemary N’ Sage Roast Chicken
1. Preheat oven to 375°F
2. In a small bowl, combine rosemary, lemon peel, sage, garlic powder, and pepper.
3. Rinse chicken; pat dry.
4. Sprinkle ¼ of the herb mixture into the chicken cavity. Brush or rub lemon juice and oil over chicken. Evenly sprinkle remaining herb mixture over chicken.
5. Arrange chicken on a rack in an aluminum foil-lined roasting pan. Bake for 1 hour 15 minutes-1 hour 30 minutes or until chicken is fork tender and golden brown.
